Have you been able to resume doing them partially / fully since having Bowen treatment? Conceived a month after treatment Testimonial of my Bowen Therapy experience. (How have you benefited from your Bowen treatment?) My husband and I tried for approx. 1 year to conceive. The month following my first treatment I became pregnant and had a successful pregnancy. The treatment itself brought on a release of emotion and an instant feeling of calm. The results speak for themselves. For my case I found Bowen nothing short of miraculous. We had been trying for over a year with no joy. Fiona was extremely positive and informed me that Bowen could help. Three months later I was overjoyed to find out I was pregnant. At the beginning of the pregnancy I suffered with morning sickness, I felt the Bowen helped me get through. The days after the treatment were the ones where I felt at my best. Later on in the pregnancy I suffered with sciatica, which was aggravated by the nature of my job by being on my feet all day. Bowen helped relieve my sciatica and by the end of my pregnancy I felt wonderful. I had a lot of friends who were pregnant around the same time as myself who suffered from tiredness throughout, especially towards the end. However, I felt full of energy and kept myself well and active. Even the day before I gave birth and I went for a long walk despite being 13 days late. My most positive experience from my whole pregnancy was the birth itself. I had very mild contractions for several hours in which I was sat in my garden enjoying the sunshine, using breathing techniques to get through the very slight pain. My labour was classed as just 4 hours, and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed the whole experience, and was overjoyed that I can remember it so clearly as I didn’t use any drugs. I felt that Bowen helped me throughout my pregnancy in many ways and enabled me to have such a positive experience of giving birth. My proudest moment is giving birth to my beautiful healthy little girl Jessica, who may not have been with us had it not been for Bowen or Fiona. Client: Jayne, aged 28 My 2nd baby was due 2 days before I saw Jen and I was determined that I was not going to be induced with chemicals this time. Jen’s treatment helped me to give birth naturally which meant I was more relaxed in labour. My periods became very irregular and I felt run down, tired and depressed. Worse was to come though as, later in the same year, I was diagnosed with MS. At this stage Tom and I almost gave up hope of ever having children. After that diagnosis I started Bowen treatment with Fiona Forster. Almost straight away I started feeling more relaxed and my periods settled down. Better still, my MS symptoms improved. Amazingly, only three months later, I conceived! I continued to receive Bowen therapy throughout the pregnancy and suffered minimal morning sickness and backache. Bowen also helped me to stay calm throughout.
